I have an old steel porch glider that is in great structural shape, but has a couple of coats of oil based paint. I am hoping to strip it, prime and repaint it to match my home's trip and fixtures. What is the best paint stripper to use, that can be found locally? I was hoping to spray it on, but would be happy to brush on if it offered a better application and thorough cleaning? Thanks in advance for any help that you could provide.

I have found a glider rocking chair that I like and that is affordable, but the wood is painted white. The other furniture in my nursery is a dark espresso, not as dark as black and not as red as cherry. I am wondering if I can stain the wood to the color I want and what that would entail? Would it really be a pain in the butt or worth it? ~Thanks for the advice! :)
